Q: Why did TalentBridge choose to use the L3C business structure?
A: While our social benefit purpose would be suited to a non-profit, we chose to use the hybrid for-profit structure an L3C for two reasons. We felt that the best environment to teach young adults about business and careers was by way of exposure to an actual for-profit business environment within TalentBridge itself, which is available in an L3C business. Also, we could have formed a regular for-profit business for the types of work that we do but we felt we could deliver more value (and more clearly define the value) to the students and to our customers through the L3C social benefit structure.
Q: What is your pricing model?
A: Our prices vary based upon the number of employees needed and the length of time of the project or contract, but in general our rates are highly competitive with any U.S.-based call center and in fact competitive with direct hire costs when all factors (overhead, hiring/training costs, rehire/replacement, infrastructure and management labor) are considered. For short-term projects our rates are similar to and very competitive with temp agency hourly rates.
